About Tina Lia
Perspective
|
“Art is a silent conversation, a means of channeling thought into tangible form. I like the idea that something in an artist’s mind becomes a living expression that provokes emotion and communicates visually. As with the running dialogue we each carry on with ourselves, the end result may be a spectrum of elements from whimsical to disturbing. The viewer reacts...and a connection is made.”
Background
Drawing inspiration from pop culture, Tina Lia’s work takes on a variety of forms - from psychedelic rock poster style paintings to found art plastic sculpture. Her unique custom doll celebrity portraits have become an online sensation, earning international media coverage.
